MonTango: Montreal Tango
, and our goal is to share that passion. Come to one of our Argentine tango is our passion free introductory tango lessons and give it a try.
"At a moment in my life when I was looking for a place to have fun and to make new friends, I discovered the warmth and colour of MonTango – quite literally by peeking
into the studio windows from Sherbrooke St. and seeing a beautiful room of couples dancing. … After three years of classes and many, many dances,
I cannot think of Montreal or of tango without MonTango."

It's good to be back!
The government gave the green light to dance schools to reopen – with restrictions – at the end of June. At MonTango we offered a short summer session in July-August as well as some private classes. We had fun teaching Tango Drills in the park and also launched a Friday evening práctica, which will continue through the fall. We look forward to teaching a full schedule of classes starting in mid-September. For now, you must register with your own partner for classes and practices, but we also have a few courses for solo dancers. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Help us out
While we are thrilled to be able to get back to live teaching, it will likely be many months before
things really get back to "normal." There will be no milongas for the time being and most group classes are restricted to couples who register together, with no partner changes.
Covering our rent for the rest of the year remains a concern for us, so our gofundme campaign is still alive. We are grateful for and touched and humbled by the contributions we have received so far.
Until we see you again, we wish you all safety, good health and lots of summer fun!
