MonTango: Montreal Tango
, and our goal is to share that passion. Come to one of our Argentine tango is our passion free introductory tango lessons and give it a try.
"At a moment in my life when I was looking for a place to have fun and to make new friends, I discovered the warmth and colour of MonTango – quite literally by peeking
into the studio windows from Sherbrooke St. and seeing a beautiful room of couples dancing. … After three years of classes and many, many dances,
I cannot think of Montreal or of tango without MonTango."

Tango is back!
Our fall session is in full swing and we have two prácticas each week: on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. We want to keep our community safe while we get back to dancing, so we continue to closely follow Public Health guidelines. For the moment that means you must wear your mask while circulating on the dance floor (but not while seated) and vaccine passports are required for all our activities. All our teachers are fully vaccinated as well. You must register in advance for our classes and prácticas, and while we recommend that you register with a partner, it is possible to sign up alone and we will do our best to help find you someone to dance with.

How you can help us out
Get vaccinated. The return of social activities like tango depends largely on the type of herd immunity that can only come from widespread vaccination. So if you've been wondering what you can do to help further open the doors of your favourite schools and milongas, please think about getting your shot.
Until we see you again, we wish you all safety and good health.
